I have been a professional nanny for over 9 years, for all ages, and I decided that I wanted to take my career to the next level by furthering my education and knowledge as a newborn specialist. Going into Vonda's class I did not think that I would learn as much as I am not new by any means to this field of work, however I was given more useful information than I expected. She not only provides the class with books, but she shows the class educational films, and gives plenty of hands on opportunities, teaching us proper bathing techniques, how to assist a nursing mother who may be having difficulties, and everything in between. I was so thankful that she was open to any and all questions that the classmates had, to ensure that we were fully grasping the information being taught. Upon completing the classes, and passing my test I received certificate and felt confident in my role as a child care provider whether it be nanny, newborn specialist, or even mother myself some day.
I can't wait to be a part of the advanced courses in which I hope Vonda will soon teach, as I know it will be again rewarding and incredibly educational. Thank you Vonda for your time an expertise!

I am so happy that I enrolled in Vonda's courses. Her no-nonsense approach made me want to go back for more. She has a wealth of knowledge that needs to be shared with others wanting to provide quality care for babies and children. There are many ways to an end, but no all ways are equal. I am writing this reference to the Newborn Specialist Training program that Vonda Dennis teaches through her company. Her program is designed to target specific. practical details that we as trainees would need to apply to our job on a daily basis. Areas from breastfeeding to sleep training. The class is ten hours, but she makes its so fun and entertaining and there is so much information to be absorbed that it's over before you know it! Plus, it being one on one makes it that much more enjoyable.
The years of experience she has obtained, the certifications. the education, and the referrals, the woman has a profile that would blow your mind. She could teach a class in anything pertaining to children. Even better? She's constantly gaining new knowledge and doing wonderful things to make her business grow! I can't wait to take more classes that Vonda has to offer and I can't wait to have her Certifications. I am privileged to be training under such a bright, intelligent, educated woman.

The world is a better place with Vonda Dennis in it. When we contacted Vonda, we were in a world of chaos. Being a new mother, when the pediatrician told me to "demand feed" our newborn daughter because of low weight issues, I immediately abided. Little did I know that it would lead to absolute confusion and severe sleep deprivation. Our daughter would not nap more than 20 minutes during the day, which meant I could not sleep, as well.
We could not tell whether she was hungry or tired, which created such turmoil for us. Vonda arrived and created order with her knowledge and allowed us to sleep. She put our daughter on a wonderful feed/sleep schedule and she now naps well and sleeps through the night. She worked with our daughter specifically on her daytime naps and showed us great techniques to soothe and create an appropriate environment to aid her in falling asleep easily. Because of Vonda, our daughter is thriving in the routine that she set up for her and we, as new parents, feel calmer for it.
